More from the Highlands

The Scottish Highlands has provided the backdrop for much of our work over the years, a landscape that demands respect and rewards careful design. Every project here has presented its own particular challenges: exposed sites, demanding soils, short growing seasons and a climate that tests both plants and materials. What follows is a selection of further projects from across the region – from Easter Ross to the Moray coast, from the Black Isle to the outskirts of Inverness. Each one different in scale, budget and brief, but all sharing the same approach: gardens designed to sit comfortably in their setting, work practically for their owners and improve with every passing year.
